In order to continuously promote the internationalization process of Chinese universities, enhance the international experience of students, and jointly build the development of countries along the “the Belt and Road” to provide talent power, on the morning of May 11, 2024, Xingfei Zhiyuan International Education and Culture Center held a cooperation memorandum signing ceremony with Bangor College of Central South Forestry University. Based on the principles of “complementary advantages, resource sharing, mutual benefit, and common development”, both parties of the cooperation have established a stable and close cooperative relationship, promoting exchanges and cooperation between Bangor College of Central South University of Forestry and Technology and top foreign universities, and carrying out cooperation in areas such as studying in China, targeted training, and enhancing students’ international experience.
At the signing ceremony, Deng Tianwen, the Dean of Bangor College, delivered a speech. Dean Deng Tianwen, on behalf of all the teachers and students of the college, first welcomes and thanks the arrival of Xingfei Zhiyuan, and briefly introduces the basic situation of the college’s development status, enrollment situation, and future development. Dean Deng pointed out that carrying out school enterprise cooperation, Sino African cooperation in education,studying in China and targeted training is a key link in promoting the further development of school internationalization, and is an important measure to actively respond to the Hunan Provincial Party Committee’s proposal to build a strong education province. Central South University of Forestry and Technology is a university jointly established by Hunan Provincial People’s Government and State Forestry and Grassland Bureau. Bangor College, established in March 2014, is a non-independent Chinese-foreign cooperatively-run school approved by the Ministry of Education (Letter for Running Schools Outside China [2013] No.70) and jointly established by Central South University of Forestry and Technology and Bangor University in the UK.
